A NEW BORN

After having 2 years of experience with my Red Sea Max 130 tank , I decided to make some changes to the tank. The tank is full of Xeina and Star Polyp , spreading over the rocks , glass and even the sps corals.

It is time to make some changes for a better look.

Removing the Xenias from the rocks and corals is a pain  so my plan is to take out the current rocks and replace with some death fiji rocks.

The new tank will be SPS dominated and maybe some clams and LPS corals on the sand.

I purchased a bag of "Nature's Ocean Bio-Activ Aragonite Samoa Pink Live Sand " incase of a sudden decrease of the bacteria population from the taken out live rocks.

Currently the tank has a DSB ( deep sand bad ) about 7,5cm deep and will be increased to about 10-12cm deep with the added new sand.

And also keeping some Prodibio Biodigest vials to help the bacteria population.
